About the Team
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is known internationally for its world-class education and training in the realm of aerospace, allowing its students to gain exposure to the most advanced, diverse, and cutting-edge education in the aviation industry. In the spring of 2014, a team of dedicated undergraduate students at Embry-Riddle's Prescott Campus, founded the university’s first student operated aircraft build and research team, Eagle Aero Sport. This team allows for students to experience first hand what goes into the production of an aircraft from production mangagment to the research and installation of experimental systems on the airframe.
Eagle Aero Sport will allow students experience with aircraft riveting and assembling, engineering, management of production operations, accounting, finance, marketing, leadership and team building skills. Exposure to these elements gives team members an immense competitive advantage over the average student by being able to gain access to hands-on learning while acquiring experience in industry. No previous expertise is need to join Eagle Aero Sport and the only requirements we look for in our team members are dedication, hard work, and passion for aviation.
In the Eagle Aero Sport Strategic Marketing Plan vital elements such as our mission statement, organizational chart, Strategic Business Unit, and SWOT analysis will be integrated in order to portray our goals and vision for this team. At Eagle Aero Sport students will be a part of more than just an aircraft build team, they will be the pioneers of a historical milestone at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Prescott.
