VANS RV-12 Light Sport Airplane

The Vans RV-12 is single engine, two-seat, low wing light-sport kit aircraft designed by Vans Aircraft. Classified as an experimental light sport aircraft, the RV12 was designed with several specific goals in mind including a total useful load of 550lbs, a 750lb empty weight, low parts count with an aim of reducing construction time, and exceptional flight qualities.

Our RV-12 will be constructed in build teams and will include experimental additional aircraft systems and airframe addons such as strain gauges, integrated avionics, and even systems for remotely piloted aircraft research.
